Knowing When to Stop
... street photography
This is temporary text, while I write something more extensive and carefully thought out. In summary, these images were taken beginning in 2000, shortly before I left Chicago, and the sequence continues up to the present day. Street photography, of course, is about the act of seeing... and when things are working, the experience itself is more important than the resulting images. Until I'm able to provide a more thorough explanation here, I recommend Gross and Shapiro, "The Tao of Photography," Ten Speed Press, for an excellent discussion.
